We are excited to announce that YILPORT signed for their first operation on the African continent!
An agreement has been reached to operate the Takoradi Port in Ghana, starting from April, 2023.
The Takoradi Port is located in the western region of Ghana, offering the best and most cost-effective route for cargos in:
- Europe
- The Americas
- Asia
YILPORT and Ibis Tek (Takoradi Port’s operating company) will establish a 70 - 30 joint venture company to invest and operate the Takoradi Port.
The joint venture company, under the vision and management of YILPORT, will develop multipurpose berths for liquid, bulk, and general cargo operations for approximately 20 million tons of annual handling capacity.
